A front porch brought back

The columns were losing paint in sheets and the floor had stopped holding a finish. A porch is the first thing anyone sees, so it was worth doing properly rather than painting over.

The work, in order

  • Old porch floor taken up
  • Columns stripped and repaired
  • New tongue and groove floor laid and stained
  • Railings replaced
  • Lattice and skirting renewed
