What the work covers
- Tear-off and disposal. The old boards and railing come off first. What we find underneath is what the price is built on, not a guess made from the top.
- Framing and flashing. Joists, ledger and flashing get checked while the deck is open. A deck fails at the ledger long before it fails at the boards.
- Decking. Hardwood, composite or pressure treated. We fit the boards and set the fasteners so the surface stays flat.
- Railings and stairs. Cable rail on wood posts, wood balusters or composite, with stairs cut to the grade.
- Porch floors and columns. Tongue and groove porch floor, column repair and paint, lattice and skirting.
